If Your Life Was To End Suddenly Today, Do You Know For Sure You Would Go To Heaven?
You can KNOW for sure that when you die, you can go to heaven... "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God." 1st John 5:13...God wants each person to know how they can go to heaven when this life ends, the bible says, "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment." Hebrews 9:27. When your life ends, you will face a judgment, this can be good or bad, depending on what you have done with Gods Son, Jesus Christ, note what the scriptures says concerning those with Christ and those without Christ:
- Those with Christ - "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." John 10:28.
- Those without Christ - "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murders, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all lairs, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." Revelation 21:8.
- The summary is very simple and clear - "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." John 3:36
- You are either with Christ or you are without Christ, there is no middle ground here...the difference is eternal heaven or eternal hell.
How Can A Person Know For Sure That They Can Go
To Heaven When They Die?
There are two words in the bible that are different in definition, but the same in conclusion, the words "Born-Again" and the word "Saved."
Note what the Bible says concerning being born again - "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." John 3:3, "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." John 3:5 - "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever." 1st Peter 1:23.
Note some simple truths concerning these verses:
- Jesus stated a man must be born again...
- Jesus stated that if a man is not born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God...
- Jesus stated that if a man is not born by water and the Spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of God...
- Jesus stated that a man is born again by the Spirit...
- Peter states that a man is not born again but by the word of God...
- To be born again is to have a second birth, (each of us have been born into life by the water, when the water of a mother breaks a child comes forth, this is our first birth, but to be born again is of the Spirit, which is God).
Note what the Bible says about the word "Saved." "Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." 1st Timothy 2:4 - "This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief." 1st Timothy 1:15 - "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God." Eph. 2:8 - "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13 - "Niether is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved" Acts 4:12.
Note some simple truths concerning these verses:
- God wants all men to be saved...
- Jesus Christ came into this world to save men...
- A person is saved by grace and nothing else...
- Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved...
- Salvation is only found in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, He only can save a person...
- To be saved has the idea of being rescued by another; Jesus Christ died at Calvary for the sin of each of us to save us or rescue us from the wage of sin. Sin is disobeying God.
- Thought - To be born again is to have a second birth from and by Gods Spirit, when this second birth has occurred by faith we are "saved" from the wrath of God; the only way to be saved is to be born again.
What Must I Do To Be Saved?
To be saved or born again is not as complicated as Satan your enemy would have you to think; God has made it clear and simple, but don't take Gods clearness and simplicity for granted, you put off the salvation that God offers and die, you will spend eternity separated from God, Heaven, and all of your loved ones who was saved! To be saved according to the Bible there are some thing you must know and believe by faith:
THAT YOU HAVE BEEN CREATED BY GOD AND FOR GOD
- "...all things were created by him and for him." Col. 1:16. This means that God has a plan and purpose with your life, you are created for His purposes.THAT SIN HAS SEPARATED YOU FROM GOD BY GENETIC SUCCESSION
- "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" Rom. 5:12. This verse clearly teaches us that we received our sin nature from our father, and that he received it from his father and can be traced back to the first man created, Adam. We Adam ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, he disobeyed God, this is what sin is, disobeying God. You have not been taught to do wrong, its your nature that you received from Adam. God is Holy, thus He separates Himself from sin.THAT GOD LOVES YOU AND DESIRES FOR YOU TO FELLOWSHIP AND BE WITH HIM
- "For God so love the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16. Here we are told that God loves us so much that He sent Jesus Christ His Son, who was perfect and sinless, and gave him for our salvation...when Jesus Christ was dying at Calvary, he was dying for your sins so that we could receive forgiveness.THAT JESUS CHRIST DIED FOR YOU
- "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures." 1st Cor. 15:3. When Jesus Christ died, He died for the world and its sin.THAT JESUS CHRIST WAS BURIED IN A GRAVE
- "And that he was buried..." 1st Cor. 15:4a. The fact that Jesus Christ was buried showed that He did indeed die.THAT JESUS CHRIST ROSE FROM THE GRAVE ON THE THIRD DAY
- "...and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures." 1st Cor. 15:4b. This is what separates religion that is man made from salvation which is God ordained, Jesus Christ rose from the grave and is alive today. All religions have their founders, and all their founders have a common fact...they are still in the grave- but Christ is risen, living in the hearts of millions today all over this world. The devil tries to make lie after lie right here concerning Christ and His resurrection, but his lies cant change a thing, JESUS CHRIST IS ALIVE!JESUS CHRIST LIVES TO BE MANS SAVIOR AND REDEEMER
- "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me." John 14:6. Jesus Christ is the only way to God, period! This was true then, is true now, and will be true from here to all eternity. The only way to come to a Holy God is by having your sins forgiven by His Son Jesus Christ, there is no other way!JESUS CHRIST INVITES YOU TO BE SAVED TODAY
- "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved." Romans 10:13. To call on the Lord is to pray or ask.Here is salvation's clearness and simplicity:
That we believe God has created us for Himself, and that sin in which we have received from our father has been passed down to us and this sin needs to be forgiven; this forgiveness is found only in God Son Jesus Christ who invites us to call upon Him by faith believing that He died for our sins, was buried in a grave and resurrected on the third day.
If you believe by faith that Jesus Christ died for your sin, was buried in a grave, and rose again on the third day, will you trust Him right now to be your personal Lord and Savior? The promise is clear to all..."For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Ask Jesus right now where you are at to forgive you of all your sins, ask Him to come into your heart and save your soul...tomorrow will be to late.
